Dr Sleeman joined the group in 1973 and has been involved in all branches of anaesthesia over the years. He now confines himself to anaesthesia for colorectal, general, orthopaedic, urological and endoscopic procedures with a particular interest in the management of acute postoperative pain, particularly with the use of epidural and spinal narcotic techniques.
A past president of AMA Victoria and chairman of the Victorian section of the Australian Society of Anaesthetists, he is a past examiner for the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists and a guest examiner for the Singapore and Hong Kong colleges.
Dr Sleeman, with his wife Sandra, breeds Angus cattle at Trentham and has a fervent interest in food, wine antiquities, travel and the Melbourne Football Club.
