The Victorian Anaesthetic Group consists of 28 anaesthetists who work predominantly in private practice and in a range of disciplines such as Orthopaedics, Plastics, Ear Nose & Throat, Endoscopy, Facio-maxillary, Cardiac, Neurology, Urology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and Paediatrics, providing anaesthetic services and support to over 140 surgeons.

The Group has been in operation for almost 50 years with all members committed to maintaining a high standard of patient care. The Victorian Anaesthetic Group has had a long tradition of involvement in the affairs of the ASA (Australian Society of Anaesthetists) and ANZCA (Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists).
